It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=
I'll try to fix up the ugly pictures and maybe add some color when I have time, and reupload another version later :b (don't know when though.) For now feel free to watch this one and laugh at it huhuhu

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

What's this? 5 day 'till Christmas?

Hello all my watchers, both new and old~ ^^

(for those of you who are new, I'm glad you like my art.)

It's that time of year where I feel the need to say Merry Christmas/Happy Hanuka/Have a good Holidays! Time flies real fast sometimes. Especially when there's less snow than usual.. So far in my neck of the woods we have a good deal less snow than last year, so I keep surprising myself when I look at the calendar. Especially today. xD

Someone here on dA was very nice in giving me a subscription during the buy on/get one free event. Last year I got one for a friend and I.. but this year I wasn't able to. I did recently get Skyward Sword though. I haven't beat it yet, only just made it past the third temple. I've also downloaded some old old GBA games onto my 3DS thanks to being a 3DS ambassador. I've quite gotten sucked into the Fire Emblem game that was available, and now I can play Minish Cap too. Games aside, I've been at my easel more often this past month. I'll have a nice painting up her on dA ~~soon enough~~ whenever I finish. Everytime I say I'll have something done "Soon enough" I always get side-tracked. (That's why you haven't seen Buizel Tale in a while...)

Anywho, with the new year coming in i'll be trying and improve my art even more~ I'll also be ~~nagged into~~ looking for a job so that I'm no longer broke. Too bad the place I wanna work at is closed during the winter... OTL
Oh! Ever been to a calendar store? No? Well it's pretty neat for someone who enjoys interesting calendars. It's kinda funny. My number one reason to look forward to next year is that I can finally open my new dragon calendar! (I hate opening a calendar before the new year.) lol.. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

I kinda wish I could think of more to ~~ramble on~~ talk about so that my journal would feel a little longer.. I really shouldn't have stacked so many stamps on the side, but I like 'em all too much to take some out.. |D

I may as well end this thing with a good ol' "I hope you all have a great winter holiday!"
