The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Hello my dearest watchers (and people who are not~)

I have some stuff to share, but first to talk about Thanksgiving. Due to where I live and who I'm related to, I actually have been able to enjoy two Thanksgivings yearly growing up. <3
We've already had our ham on the Canadian date, because after all.. that's where I live. Today I shall have a nice turkey and give more thanks, especially to my parents. c: The reason for celebrating the US Thanksgiving? My mom comes from the states. So yes, a Happy Thanksgiving (or Happy Day on it's own) to you all today.

You get to to know why I nerded all over.. |D

I totally managed to pick up a copy of Skyward Sword today (but now I've got only5$ to my name) and I had time just to play a bit. I was squeaking and giggling and the whole deal. I love this game right from the start (and why wouldn't I?). The graphics are great, the characters are so expressive and, and, it's fantastic so far, I'm looking forward to playing more tomorrow (trying to take it easy and not rush~). I'm also loving that the game came with the orchestra CD. I'm listening to it right now~ <3 *hums to Fairy Fountain*
