In a state of boredome you flip on the TV...
...All over the world Pokemon have been found who resemble each other, but could it be that they share a common ancestor? Fossil Pokemon specialist Professor Ginkgo is here today to share with a new discovery of his that could possible link as many as four different Pokemon from around the world! Professor, please tell us your findings.
"Hello there folks at home, Professor Ginkgo here. Today I would like to shed some light on a possible common ancestor for pokemon of Kanto, Johto and even Hoenn. You would know them as Nidoran, Larvitar, Aron and possibly Ryhorn.
We found these similar fossils in the mountains of all these regions and believe this ancient Pokemon may have left them as it's modern day descendants based on habitat and food sources. The first stage, Reptot as we call it was similar to the first stages of all but rhyorn who is closer to the second stage. it is a quadrupedal reptile with many bony 'horns' coming from it's skull and back. We have resurrected a couple of them to study behaviour and colouration genes, but they are not available to trainers for many reasons.
The second form, Therolix as we have named it is a heavier built creature than it's previous form. It has many traits similar to those of Lairon and Rhyhorn. It's thick rock-like skin is very tough and it moves about surprisingly fast on two legs. This would have helped it survive harsh environments and predators such as Aerodactyl. Again, we revived a single fossil to study them.
The third form, Allosaurex as it is called stands at a frightening 10 feet! It has a mouth full of long sharp teeth and thick scaly skin. It's roar is enough to send an entire town running. These Pokemon are fast and deadly, and yet at the same time they make excellent parents. A single fossil was revived and we had to contain it in a masterball to prevent any excessive destruction. It is due to it's destructive power that they are illegal to own.
Anyway, I'm sure I've talked enough here. Good bye everyone." -Thank you Professor Ginkgo. Okay folks, that all the time we have left today on Pokemon Now! Please tune in next week for another exciting show and more cute pokemon.
