The large luxray named Star lept at me and I dodged just in time. He growled and tried
again, but I launched a sonic boom at his face. He stopped briefly before charging
electricity. Peck had flown up to the pipes lining the ceiling. The little murkrow
was doing his best to stay out of the way. I in the meantime was trying to fight off
a pokemon twice times my size charged with electricity. Things weren't looking
that great for me.

He launched a thunderbolt in my direction, but it missed. I fired two more sonic
boom at Star. Both collided and made the beast take a step back. I lept towards
him and let loose a swift attack. Most of the stars collided and their target
growled in frustration. He fired another thunder at me and this one hit. I was
thrown to the floor, but I could still move. With difficulty I stood up and fired my
water gun. Star dodged and pounced in my direction, catching my by the tips of my
tail. I squirmed free at the cost of a few hairs. I glanced at the tank full of worried
pokemon and then at the luxray glaring at me. I think I had an idea, but I was not
sure if it would work.

I motioned to the others to swim away. At first the look confused, so I tried again
while dodging a thunder attack. Tide figured out what I was up to and spoke to the others. I couldn't hear them, but I watched Tide's mouth move and the entire
group swim to the other side of the tank. I ran over to a spot directly in front of
the huge water tank and fired a watergun at the luxray's head. He growled again
and leapt at me out of frustration. My plan was working. I dove forward  underneath Star and turned my head to watch to see what would happen next.
The luxray had hit the glass head on and made a crack. I grinned. It wouldn't be to
hard now to make that crack into a hole.

Star stood up rather dazed from his collision with the thick glass water tank. He
shook his head and turned towards me, spitting out a tooth in the process. I
doubted he would fall for a stunt like that again, so I had to try something else or
risk being being attacked and captured. I just had to figure out how to bust that
glass, but that wouldn't be so easy. I fired another water gun at Star, but he
dodged and clamped onto my side with his powerful jaws. I could feel him crushing
me while his fangs slid into my flesh. Luckily it didn't last long because he thrashed
me left to right and tossed me to his right in the direction of the tank. Just before
I hit the ground I caught a glimpse of the pokemon at the back of the tank. They all
looked worried.

They had a right to look worried. I was in bad shape and the battle wasn't over yet. I stood up from my sprawled position and glanced up in hopes of spotting Peck. Surely he could do something to help, even if it was a small distraction. He caught my eye and I tried to motion him down with my head. He looked a little worried but dived from his perch anyway. Just as Star was about to speak, Peck flew right up in his face with an astonish attack before returning to the ceiling pipes. Star flinched and I seized my chance. I turned away from the enemy and faced the tank. I hit it sonic boom after sonic boom until Peck squawked. Star must have gained his senses.

I was just about  to fire a swift attack at Star when I noticed the tank had a bit of
water trickling through the cracks. I motioned for the others to attack the spot
while I refocused on Star. I was seconds to late and was zapped by a thunder
attack. I fell to my knees and landed in a puddle of water. Behind me I could hear
the banging of attacks on the glass crack. I tried standing up, but I was starting to
feel weak. Just as I though I was done for, I heard a loud cracking pop noise behind me. The face of the luxray turned to pure horror and I tried to brace myself for what was about to happen next.

Gallons of water burst forward from the tank and smack into Star and I. He was
knocked out by the collision, but I managed to hang on and felt Tide grab onto me.
"Good job Tyson, you did it!" It felt nice to be praised, but we still weren't safe
until we escaped the building itself. First we needed to leave the room. The closed
door was keeping the water in and the wooper had taken it upon themselves to
prevent to luxray from drowning. Tide let go of me with some convincing and I
opened the door. Water from the still draining tank flooded the halls and we swam
with it.

A few humans were taken by surprise to witness and gush of water filled with
water pokemon coming at them. Some were knocked over by the wave and others
clung to nearby objects in order to not get washed away. A man clinging to a door
handle spotted Star and fished him out of the woopers. The water carried us right
to the elevator and drained down the chute. All of us caught on the fence like door.
Tide and I climbed over and helped the others get over too. Pecked swooped in just as we hit the button the said 'submarine hangar'. We figured that would be a good place to go. We all gathered along the back wall and  hopped we wouldn't be
noticed. I ached all over and just wanted to get out.

We stopped unexpectedly just a few floors before our destination. Of everything
that could have climbed in with us, it was that mightyena named Heinz and his
three followers. It took them a second to realize we were there. I hit the 'submarine hangar' button again before anything else could go wrong. the elevator continued to it's previous course in bringing us to safety. The four canine pokemon stood defensively on the other side of the elevator. One of the poochyena spoke up. "Boss, that's the smell we smelled up in the helicopter room! This time it also smells like commander Star and blood too!" The mightyena looked me over while checking my scent. "Hey, you're right.." He sniffed the air again. "So you're the little bugger who made water fly down past our heads. You almost got my fur wet!"

I stuck out my tongue and him and Tide elbowed me for my actions. "Just let me
handle this Ty." I watched as Tide threw himself at Heinz in with a freezing cold Ice fang and tossed him out  onto a random passing floor. The three trembling poochyena left when we passed the next floor. "See, no problem." Tide walked back over and gave me a high five. We reached our destination next. It was a large room similar to the one we landed in, but this one felt damp and and smelled of ocean. The elevator gate opened and we stepped out carrying the fish who had trouble moving on their own.

"Peck!" I called up to the bird pokemon circling us. "Find the sea water for us." He
nodded his head and flew off in search of sea water that would hopefully lead us to safety. Soon enough it we heard Peck call us over, but at the same the elevator
started to rise up. That was a bad sign, it meant humans were probably on their
way down. We scrambled over to where peck was calling us from and found a
seaport. The huge doors were shut, but it would have to work for a hide away.

Tide and I stood by the water's edge like human captains urging their men into the
unknown. The elevator  was coming back down and a wooper carrying a barboach
in it's mouth tripped and the barboach was left squirming on the floor crying for
help. Tide hopped in the water after the wooper stumbled in. I didn't have it in my
heart to leave anyone behind. Despite my aches and pains, I rushed over with an
aqua jet and grabbed to slippery fish before making a U-turn into the water. We got in just as several humans flooded out of the elevator armed with metal devices an pokeballs.
See, I told you I would get it done. ^^
We continue seeing featured pokemon from last chapter in this one as well.
They are ~LuxrayStar's Luxray named Star and
~Kialish's Mightyena name Heinz.

Enjoy your first Buizel Tale of 2010! :D
